If you add the 1 + 2 = 3

The number 12 allows us to look at these two numbers separately and together. The number 1 is about standing alone, being willing to do what needs to be done, and to find our own authentic expression through experiences rather than just listening to the knowledge of others. The number 2 pulls us into recognizing this world of duality in which we exist.
We are here to see that we too are split into light and shadow. Denial is the elixir that keeps us asleep and believing in the lie that we are all goodness and light. But that denial is the bridge to the shadows within. It lurks inside and does terrible things that we will often not remember … nor will we take responsible for those moments when the shadow awoke and took control of our being … allowing our consciousness and goodness to fall asleep and go into hiding because it could not cope with what was happening.
This is the basis of lost childhood memories or gaps in consciousness or awareness.

But that shadow is often the part that rescued us from our own terrible choices. It rises up to take back or break out of the patterns that have been causing us to suffer at the hands of others or the dysfunction of our upbringing.
That integrated understanding will open the door to see things from a third vantage point (the number 3). It is only then that we become vaster and move beyond duality and back towards a more fully alive perspective and vibration. We gain an advantage when we can see the light and the dark in others. We gain objectivity when we understand that it is the nature of all things in this earthly realm.

Embrace the darkness within. Embrace the forces that arise to save us from our poor choices and break us out of complacency towards being no longer a victim of our circumstances but a warrior on the path to awakening.

Astrology for Today 10/23/2022

The Moon tilts the mood from side to side as the Libra energy attempts to create a balance from the current upsets.

Saturn appears to hesitate and take a moment to understand the recent retrograde that it is planning to come out of tomorrow. Now we begin to see that it is our responsibilities that pull us out of our mind and into what is important. While dreams are a gift, the real treasure are those that love and care for us through it all and make sure that we have food, shelter, and a path that will allow us to find personal value in this life.

Some think of Saturn as a task master. Saturn shows us what needs to be done. Saturn shows us how our obligations are not to make us miserable but something to embrace as a part of the complex patterns of life. Saturn shows us that what we do … defines who we become. Saturn shows us that great things require effort, planning, and focused care and concern. We grow because the past restrictions within our own mind define those edges. But we can overcome those barriers with our desire to do what is right and embrace what might be possible with some determination and effort.
If you feel that the limitations seem everywhere that is because this position of Saturn will magnify that spot to force a choice. That choice is always change.

Venus and the Sun both shift into Scorpio and influence our emotions and direct our passions for the next few weeks. We are absorbed and perhaps consumed by those things that give us pleasure and show our souls what is possible if we do not let fear stop us but instead inspire us to take charge and handle those things that are under our purview.
No matter what do not give your power away to others. Deal with the financial patterns that need to shift.

Let yourselves go deep into the feelings as we want what is real rather than what is just okay or status quo.

It is time to repurpose some things and transform others.
Embrace the moment and let the challenges ahead be exciting. Realize that to have a different life … one must become a different person.

Venus and the Sun will quincunx to Jupiter and that can make the feelings of restlessness almost unbearable.

Have no expectations on what is opening up. Allow yourself to be amazed and feel the wonder of it all.

The quest forward is about finding a new center. One that will give us ideas that are new and satisfy something much deeper inside that has been longing for your attention, time, and love.
