At the beginning there is only … Love.

Then the mind shifts and shoves.

Breaking apart what was good.

Leaving feelings so misunderstood.

In the maze … the darkness lurks.

We seem to lash out from all the hurts.

Under the pain that the mind creates.

Is a hidden garden with sacred gates.

Finding the doorway is the key.

Within is a quiet place that the mind will flee.

That is because in the center of it all.

The love continues to sing and call.

Beyond the thoughts that the mind demands.

Your soul’s center is still in command.

Fall colors are in full bloom.

I witness the waxing of the Moon.
I can feel the season of color come alive.

I can feel the creatures preparing to survive.

The winter winds tickle the falling leaves.

The rodents gather grass and the sheeves.
As the day becomes darker and cold.

All that once was … releases its hold.

Fall is the time of beginning to let go.
Crops are complete, and farmers use the backhoe.
What once was green goes back into the soil.
We are heading into the season of the gargoyle.
Let your senses come alive.

Embrace the moment and take a swan dive.

Into this moment that calls to us all.

After all we are a part of this season, Fall.
