Poem – Teach or Taunt

Are you here to teach … or to taunt?
You either lead with goodness or are a death that haunts.

Hate filled souls lash out intending to cause pain.
When others hurt … they feast on another’s bane.

I am not here to stop the human condition of hate.
I am here to show that it does not have to be your fate.

But when you want to win and are ruthless in your pride.
When your words are filled with lies that intend to divide.

You are a part of the darkness that is a disease of this land.
And you will become marked by a very evil brand.

Such brands are marks that you will carry through time and space.
They are the reminder that you have surrendered up love and grace.

The hole that you have dug will take eons to climb out.
And you will not be able to evade the karmic fallout.

Right now, you can wake up and see your own plight.
And if you fight with all your might.

You might escape the ravages that lie ahead.
Best to start the shift now … before you are dead.
