Poem – Women! Tear Off Those Veils!

I want to tear down all the persistent veils.
Those that hide beauty that men believe assails.
Those that demand to hide wildness have no self-control.
Such souls live half a life and will never be whole.

Whole-ness requires us to see all things.
Not hide beauty behind apron strings.
The feminine is a flower that is impossible to hide.
It is a powerful gift … not something to divide.

The women of the world are suffering and in fear.
Behind those veils are endless tears.
While I believe in a great God of love and light.
I know by looking at what he creates he is not a god of spite.

He makes beauty for all in life to see.
He makes it spectacular and a lure to reach for eternity.
Those whose beliefs demand that the feminine hide its light and truth.
Are souls that refuse to go inside themselves to sleuth.

If a soul refuses to see God in everything and everyone outside.
They will be afraid to dive deep on their own inside.
If you cannot acknowledge the beauty that gifts you on this day.
You are destined to exist in a life with dismay.

Beauty gives us hope in a world in constant change.
Beauty allows us to breathe and have the courage to try again.
So, women of the world, if we together hold hands.
And remove all the veils that mankind demands.

What will they do? Nothing will exist without the feminine.
If they kill us all … mankind will become a skeleton.
Religion was supposed to show systems that promote what is kind and good.
Not to be twisted by those who intentionally misunderstood.

When that day comes … and women are finally free.
That is the day when we have finally embraced beauty.
Suppressing beauty does not heal the heart.
Splendor is the beginning where more wonder can start.
