Astrology for 10/8/2023

The Moon in the fiery sign of Leo gives us a bit more confidence today, which we are going to need as this Mars/Pluto square continues. Mars and Pluto are the two “bad boys” of the zodiac and when they square off it can feel like being at the OK Corral. We want what we want, and we are willing to fight about it. While the Leo Moon wants to work it out and find a better way, know that the square can make us feel as if things are not doing what we expect and that leads to confrontations because we have had enough. But this pushing is for naught because we are “not” going to get our way anyway. Besides fighting over this one small issue is not going to fix this bigger problem that we are feeling. A small win here will not really matter in the long run. So why fight about it. For some, they will play out the process of resistance. For others they intend to continue the power plays that are no longer being effective. Expect some to want to pick a fight, because they have decided if they cannot get what they want, then they are going to drag as many into their misery as possible.
While figuring out how to be observant in ways that support new perspectives is a good goal, some will not care because they are uncapable of change anyway. Such people it is best to steer clear of today. Besides you may not be able to change their sullen mood anyway.
Venus goes into Virgo, and it will be there till November 8^th. Venus likes its comfortable and sensual reality. But Virgo is much more practical in its approach. Try working towards more personal satisfaction at work. Don’t compete against the bar and quotas established by the bosses that demand productivity. Just compete in doing your best each and every day. If we constantly seek external validation to who and what we are, we are never going to feel safe or complete. When we realize that our love and presence is enough we stop spinning our wheels doing things to please others and move out of being a “go-for” person to a more autonomous soul that is meticulous because integrity matters to the person that you know you can become.
Try to let small things go. Worrying about every little detail never allows the mind to rest and find peace.
