Astrology For November 2024

It is the Month for making choices and decisions. And we start this month off with a powerful influence of a New Moon in Scorpio, the Sun in Scorpio, and Mercury in Scorpio trining Neptune (also in the watery sign of Pisces).

To say there is a lot of emotion running this month is an understatement. What is hidden will be revealed, the darkness will lash out at the light, and there will be an overwhelm of emotions that will color our world this whole month.

From day one in November, the stars set the tone for what is coming our way. The powerful current of Scorpio plans to bring magic to the surface and transform the darkness into light.

While some intend to take the gloves off, others will intend to strip the masks off. We finally see the underlying intentions and motivations that others have been hiding. We cannot help but feel wildly uncomfortable and for some this will force them to see the shameless suffering they have been causing.

We are being dragged through the Mars/Pluto opposition which both rule Scorpio. I expect those that know they are in the losing positions to try to cheat, steal, and do whatever they can to destabilize our civil society.

And this is the beginning of a powerful month that is just heating up. If you think this will be over election night, you are going to be very wrong!

This aspect speaks to those whose drive for power makes them lose their connection with reality and their rush to judgement becomes a form of compulsive, intention, deception, and interference. Many will want to push their demands on others with force and aggression.

November 2^nd, Jupiter will sextile with Chiron, and we become hopeful that the restrictive and negative tendencies that have been plaguing our society will finally begin to break down so that we can all heal. Perhaps we can learn from our past mistakes. Our desire to thrive will override those that only want to hate and blame.

What is clear is that while the darkness is on display, we can see there are very strong positive elements that buffer and allow the explosions of hate and violence to absorb the negativity that will try to threaten and upset the balance. There are way too many very transformative and positive influences to what is unfolding for the negative nay-sayers to win. And that is exactly what we need at this time.

Just know that with Mars in a retrograde, we are going to have to revisit these patterns two more times and we would be wise to not drop our guard for even a second.

Election day is filled with dramas that will shock and create challenges where there normally would not be any. Don’t expect this election to be over even when it seems over. That is because of certain new laws in states that require hand counting. This is going to be time consuming and cause delays.

I expect more clear conclusions by the 9^th of November when Neptune will square to Venus and even more certainty when Venus goes into Capricorn on the 11^th. Even on the 12^th we have a more grounded and practical knowing that begins to settle the dust as we have Mercury squaring to Saturn.

November 15^th, there is a Full Moon in Taurus, but it also is close enough to make a conjunction to Uranus which is at the end degrees of Taurus. And we have Saturn finally at the end of its backwards motion on that same day.

By this point in the month, we are going to feel that we are heading towards that shift of Pluto into Aquarius for the long-haul on November 19^th. But before that on the 17^th, the Sun will be in opposition to Uranus. Then Mercury will oppose Jupiter on the 18^th, and we will have one more thing on the 19^th which is that the Sun will trine to Neptune. We will feel as if the 17^th, there is an announcer saying, “On your mark!” On the 18^th the announcer says, “Get set!”. And on the 19^th, the flag comes down to the announcer saying, “Go!”

In that moment what has been held back explodes into our world. The overdue shifts in direction that we have been longing to finally feel gain traction and we begin to feel the train move on the tracks that we have intended.

This is a month where we all need to make choices, decisions, take risks, and/or take action. We will not have a better moment to try than in this month of November.

By the 19^th we leave the bad behind and we embrace the good in ourselves, our world, and our lives. We are going to open to redefining our education systems, redefine what is expected of good and abiding citizens of our world, and to recognize that as individuals we need to work for a unified collective that will give this world a chance to heal and become whole once again.

November 21^st, the Sun will go into the mutable sign of Sagittarius, and it will give us a sense of that bigger picture that is possible, and it will inspire us to reach for the light finally knowing that that light will not burn us.

November 26^th, Mercury will go retrograde, so expect a few snafus and bumps. Let’s not buy a car during this retrograde. Wait until after December 15^th to make any big purchases.

November 27^th, the Sun will trine to Mars and you will need to go over contracts with a fine tooth comb. Know what are signing before you agree to anything. Get those smarter than you to help you understand the details that might be hidden in the small print. This wonderful potential for making new agreements and signing papers can last through mid-December.

While this can be a confusing month filled with emotional highs and lows, it is a month filled with hopeful potential to offer us a quality of life that is about peace rather than conflict. This is a month where great opportunity can come your way when we allow the storm to pass and the sun to shine through the clouds to show us the rainbow.
