Astrology for 8/22/2023

The Scorpio Moon will make things tense and difficult for many today. Obviously, there are many extenuating conditions and situations happening out there in our country at the moment and so we are to remember our compassionate side today while so much is in uproar.
Venus is still retrograde, and it is squaring to Jupiter today. This can cause the expansion power of Jupiter to combine with another fiery planet and let’s just say, that things can get out of control quickly. Feelings cut loose and our rational side can decide to hide in the basement for moments. Try to not judge others and do your best to handle your own expectations. It is going to be too easy to want to say too much and cause more problems if we are not self-aware.
If one can stay calm while so much seems to want to rage inside, you win.
Many will feel as if life continues to throw curve balls at our head (metaphorically). Things seem to be taxing on many levels and it seems that the mental confusion just does not want to clear. Know that figuring out what is causing this is less about a situation or circumstance and more about the intensity of the astrological whammy that is pummeling all of us in a variety of ways.
Inspiration seems lacking and we feel we need another vacation or desire to be left alone. Responsibilities lie heavy on our heart and even as we are trying to do what is right, we feel as if we have to put our own needs to the side. Some may feel as if it is all too much and want to run.
But instead, it is best to take a rest and seek spiritual answers that will give some of the energy back that is going to help each of us carry on.
There is much that still needs to be sorted out. Eventually, that is missing will reconnect and we will have to live with the truth that is staring us in the face.
