Poem – We Are A Part Of The Shadows That Time Has Cast
In the fabric of time, woven deep and wide,
Lies the question, whether to let tradition abide.
Should we carry it forth with joyous cheer,
Or release it to the winds, and let it disappear?
Moments, are like gems, to be treasured in our chest,
Memories amassed, a reflection of this life’s eternal quest.
Yet some blindly hold on to what should be set free,
Creating chains that bind, hindering the potential that we could be.
It is time to shape anew, to sculpt a vibrant way,
Crafting healthier traditions, in a vibrant new display.
For great legacies demand patience and care,
Their essence a testament, beyond all compare.
In life’s intricate dance, we must find a balanced stride,
Where work isn’t all, and play can’t be denied.
For balance is the scale that tips life’s design,
We seek joy in our labor, to find the way they entwine.
Traditions, like old oaks, must stand the test of time,
Rooted in hearts, with stories that climb.
Experienced and upheld, their value is found,
It is in the laughter and love, that we find the profound.
The rhythm of routines, are a comforting embrace,
Held close to the heart, they leave a lasting trace.
In these threads of life, we build upon the old,
Stitching together memories, that become more precious than gold.
As age creeps in softly, and memories unfold,
We seek solace in traditions, and the many stories they hold.
A tapestry of peace, is woven with threads from our past,
That is how we become a part of the shadows that time has cast.
