I am so very sure that somewhere in a past life.

That I learned all about the games of political strife.

I know that I see what others cannot.

Because of that I know personal betrayal and I cannot be bought.

While there are those that need to play such a game.

I know that in the end it is always the same.

No matter how good the heart tries to be.

There will be another who only wants to destroy … lives with glee.

The road to external power is a river of blood.

And leaves civilizations destitute and in the mud.

That is why I care not at this moment in time.

If I ever have power to wield some fantastic design.

I know that while a soul longs for something it was never supposed to have.

Getting power before one is ready can turn out really bad.

Into this time, we can only give what is true from our heart.

And that is how all great things at least can have enough energy to finally start.

There are always those that will tear down the good.

Even then they know that it is not something that they should.

History records the evil that lurks.

Inside the hearts of too many jerks.
Evil creates a story and a plan.

And enrolls all of those that it can.

It feeds them lies as it laughs and rolls.

As the masses it unleashed … lose all control.
It manipulates the hearts of those.

Who cannot understand or complexity oppose.

It trains them all to be schools of fish.

Leaping into the mouths for the corporate dish.

There are always those that do continue to speak the truth.

But the lies are so much more appealing to evil in the voting booth.

The lies confuse those whose hearts are good.

And distort the great words with so much fake sainthood.
It is one of the reasons that I write.

Because right or wrong, I will speak up and fight.

And my words will linger to tell the true tale.

When sanity returns and lifts evil’s veil.

When I am dead and long gone from this world.

My words will continue to awaken and uncurl.

Hopefully the hearts and minds of those that finally can see.

And from heaven above I will smile with certainty.
