Quote
Will we find a door to lead us through?
It is the only way to discover what is true.
I hope there will be a moment when peace appears.
I am tired of a world … too filled with fears.
It is time for all of us to shake the dirt from the old roots.
And get rid of all that things that continue to persecute.

We explored the Kylemore Abbey which was an amazing castle, where are powerful and wealthy person, once again, employed people during the Potato famine … at fair wages for those starving to death during that terrible time in history. It is lovely to see and hear of those that tried to do their best to keep others alive and families afloat in such a terrible time.
We got lots of steps in and that has been a goal of mine for this trip. Especially with all the amazing food that keeps showing up. We keep averaging between 7 and 9 miles a day.
We are now at Glenlo Abbey Hotel in Galway.
We went into town and had a dinner that was amazing. I love having fish that I have never heard of and that are new taste sensations. I also love every seafood chowder that I have had in Ireland. It is so much more complex than the typical clam chowder that we have in America. And it is so much richer and deeper.
Galway is a massively growing town and because of the horror of Brexit that Great Britain continues to endure. As Great Britain is out of the EU, students that were trying to get education in England are now looking for schooling in Ireland.
The university here is building residences for students at a very fast rate. As fast as they can manage to build them.
Taking a cab back to the hotel, we gave the taxi driver (who was an immigrant) a 4-dollar tip and he was so overjoyed that he was in shock. I love being able to at least feel like a generous American and able to put a smile on another’s face.
Next, we are off to the Aran Islands. I am excited to tell you all about it tomorrow.
