The Number 4 reminds us that it is in balance that we will find the answers we seek … not in the upsets that threaten our sanity and our security. It is part of the human condition to get caught up in the waves of chaotic emotion and opinions that constantly slam against our shores.
Learning how to maintain objective neutrality while so much is happening is challenging to say the least. But the question is … “Do we have a choice?”
Honestly, that answer is “No!”
We live in a world where there are those that exploit the emotions of others … to manipulate them for their own gain. Emotionally whipping others into a frenzy can turn some people into a weapon where normal people become a danger to themselves, others, and our society.
Life is filled with moments where we are challenged to do what is right in a world that seems to have lost its mind around morals, ethics, and societal norms.
We cannot allow those that want to harm what is good in this world to have free reign to tear apart people, and those things that really matter to us.
Unfortunately, some have become hypnotized by the inflamed words that are intentionally projected out at us and know that some want to pull us down while lifting themselves up.
It is a question of objectivity. The ability to be objective defines if you are prey or predator. Those who need to belong to a group and require the protection of certain mindsets are often acting as if they are prey. They need to belong … to feel safe. If one is a sheep, one needs a herd to belong to.
The number 4 is more like a wolf. It has the ability to stay calm and to objectively look out and calculate what is happening and then plan its next move. That type of ability to see what is unfolding and activate a successful plan … requires a mind that looks out at life as a series of chess moves. Knowing which moves will give the greatest chance of success and the having the courage to move in those directions requires a mind that has objective reasoning, not a reactive fear response.
Today, you get to decide if you are playing out needing the safety of a group or if you are willing to walk the path that allows freedom and to be true to your own nature.
Depending on your viewpoint, we can either look out at the world as if there are constantly things to be fearful of, or we can look out a world where we are the master of our own destiny.
The only requirement for the latter is that we will have to learn self-restraint, objective reasoning, and a centered mind that looks for the peaceful path rather than the stampede as a way to promote positive change.
