Astrology for 1/5/2024

This morning with the Moon in Scorpio we seem determined to get to the bottom of things. Many will feel as if they just don’t want to take more emotional drama currently. But this Moon is not letting us off the hook of facing our deepest and darkest selves. Disturbing thoughts invade our ability to focus and we try to move in deliberate ways but it seems our perception is skewed.
This can open up conversations that require us to share very personal feelings and moments that changed us forever. Some things need to feel the light of day and the type of love that is understanding and honest. It can be a real breakthrough moment if we let it.
With the Sun and Chiron in a square we just do not feel as clear in our demeanor as we might like. Confidence feels a bit wobbly. Those places in which we feel the most vulnerable seem closer to the surface. Adding to that dis-ease. In this moment, many things that we thought were secure, we might now question. While our purpose and mission stay the same, we feel our human frailty and the places we are less resilient.
Sometimes healing comes from sitting in the truth of the current misery. Don’t try to avoid it, embrace the power that it has to reveal our underlying vulnerability and need. We are being asked to be honest first with ourselves. Otherwise, we can’t ever be able to see past the facades of others.
