Astrology for 5/2/2024

If it feels as if there is a major turn on a lot of levels and we are setting the stage for some big shifts … you are not alone. This stage is set for causing intentional confusion, and the escalation of issues and problems.
Pluto goes still in the sky today and begins its retrograde cycle till October 11^th.
To say that we are being perfectly set up for the complicated games of power is an understatement. What is also clear is that we do not have a solution to the problem because there are those that are not yet convinced of the destructive agendas of powerful people.
It can feel as if the external pressures on us are bogging us down in the muck. What is clear is that Pluto retrograde is going to point out many issues that we have around unresolved power. The questions that will arise are “Have you given up your power and decision making to another? Have you realized how your own drive for power and validation has caused you to make very questionable choices? Why do you feel you need more control? Are you seeking power or your own truth?
These next few months can be very telling about the nature of one’s avoidance patterns and how we think we are grasping for power when we are digging ourselves in deeper to troubling places.
Pluto is like a big stick held over our heads with a voice saying threateningly, “Did you get that lesson?”
Pluto’s lessons are severe and certain. Not learning the lessons always has dire consequences.
Pluto will back up into Capricorn for its last and final plunge from September 1^st through November 19^th.
You have heard me say repeatedly, “Firsts and Lasts in astrology magnify the intensity of things. This entire year is a dance with Pluto at 28-29 degrees of Capricorn or 0 or 1 degrees of Aquarius. Add to that all the squares and oppositions in other signs at similar degrees and it can feel as if we are in a pinball machine begin bounced around chaotically.
Because there is so much going on, and we are in a Pluto retrograde, my suggestion is to go slow. Now is not the time to push but to plan and move with a more deliberate but patient formula.
This afternoon, the Moon in Aquarius will shift into Pisces, and we feel as if we need a more spiritual plan that allows us to feel beauty and freedom over getting things finished. So much has been happening, between solar flares, and the upsets in the world that we need a chance to decompress. Sometimes a pause is in order. This is definitely the day for that.
