The New Moon is today, in Leo. It starts the day off right and gives us the incentive to enjoy romance and bring much more magic into our life. Without romance, love, family, and creative expressions, life would only feel like work and drudgery. It is important to give love but today, notice how good you are at receiving love.
When we learn to let love in that allows us to build a healthy self-confidence and a constructive type of pride that takes pride in our work and making a difference for others. A healthy sense of pride gives us direction and purpose that impact others not just ourselves. A healthy sense of pride comes across as warm and caring, safe and consistent.
There is a lot of Leo energy impacting whatever area of the chart you have Leo. If used properly, it can be a real boost in creative expression. It allows our spontaneous inner child time to get out and just play. Besides new patterns learned in play are much easier to integrate and initiate essential changes that you want in your life right now.
While all this Leo energy is tightly squared to Uranus, know to expect the unexpected. And that does not need to be a bad thing. A few surprises are just the ticket to move us out of old pathways that might have turned into ruts over the past many years.
Venus continues its retrograde in Leo and we are having to take a look at our choices past, present, and future. Deciding what we like and what perhaps no longer serve us is a sorting process that will eventually make things simpler and less chaotic.
Mars will also trine to Uranus today. It may feel like a one/two punch that packs some power. Be adventurous and let go. Why not try all new things.
Why not in this New Moon forgive everyone and everything in your past. Grudges are heavy to carry and only generate more karmic suffering over time.
Let the boisterous energy of Leo bounce you out of that crabby mood and towards the boundless potential that you still hold tight. It is time to let that lovely part of yourself out for recess.
It is time to realize that your smile lights up a room, changes the tone of the day for others, gives hope that kindness still exists in this world and allows each of us to believe that we can make positive changes that will allows us to find the type of freedom that we seek.
