Astrology for December 1, 2024

Today is a New Moon and we are in the sign of Sagittarius. There is a fire burning inside. A burning that needs the air and the light. But more importantly, it is a fire that needs to be seen … and heard. With this fiery optimism, we see another path. One that takes us through the fires of our true self and into a place that instructs because of its authentic nature and heart.

As we set the stage for this new month, the cycle and goals become illuminated and as we see the light and head towards that light … we find a courage that we did not know we possessed. As we nurture this seed inside, that seed begins to grow and with the inherent optimism of new life we expand into the path that is more honest than it has ever been and more willing to make the discomfort of truth the only way forward.

The Moon and Mercury align and once again. This moment is all about communicating something that has great meaning to us and that knows how to weave threads together to make a reality a possibility that was never actually supposed to see the light of day. We cannot grow up if we cannot tell the whole truth. To ourselves or others.

I find the people that I admire the most are those that do not hide from their past. And when confronted with the distortions of hearsay, opt instead to lay it all out. They speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Because the reason we make choices and decisions in the moment matter. Too many refuse to take responsibility for those choices and do not know how to be completely honest with themselves so they cannot be honest with others. Such people are never to be trusted. They have nothing to teach as they hide behind a false sense of self and believe their own illusion. Such souls take others off the path rather than support them being on the path that their soul calls for them to traverse.

Mercury moves into a trine with Chiron, and we are called to be more alert and more awake than ever before. To understand something completely one needs to know the whole story, the good and especially the bad. We cannot solve problems if we are not even willing to address the elephants in the room.

Truth comes out in waves, and it does not need to find the perfect words or expressions. That is because we can sense truth when it arises. But only if we have experienced those moments of vulnerability and honesty ourselves. Closed people cannot sense truth. In fact, they are attracted to those that hold their own same distortions and woundings.

Truth speaks not to be heard but to be shared and released. Each person hearing it will be impacted on the level of their own awareness. People will take from those stories what matters to them and what they need to hear at that time.

This is why today, it is important to have more confidence in your path, your perspective, your mistakes, your lessons, and the wisdom that you now carry because of it.

Authenticity is the outcome of someone who has decided to tell themselves the whole truth. That is why when someone is being authentic, it matters not the opinions of others. Truth becomes the anchor and the place that the soul’s wisdom moves into this dimension and through it. No one can take that from a person once it is fully engaged and locked into place.
