Astrology for December 12, 2024

The Moon in Taurus asks us to stay the course. We seek stability and comfort rather than the dramas that we know and see continuing in this world.

The Moon and Saturn seem to want to build a structure to create something new. We look to a world that continues to spin out of control and cause suffering, but it is important to figure out the actions that we can personally take during this time, knowing full well that those in power have no intention of protecting the people.

Mars and Venus continue in their opposition and eventually the Sun jumps into this mix and will sesquiquadrate to Mars later today. We will need to be hyper aware of any reactive intentions that are going to cause us to pass judgment before we have all the information. If you feel tension and a bit of anxiety … know that this is a global expression of what is about to unfold. This is not the time to go running headlong into something. That will only generate more problems and offer no solutions of value. It is going to be important to take your time. Try to not make things worse by your choices and projections. I know that there will be a feeling that we must do something! But the choice we are seeking is not yet available to us, and it is best to wait than to go running into a dark place that you cannot see where you are going.

Today, we might begin to feel a pattern where Jupiter will sesquiquadrate with Pluto tomorrow. Those sensitive will feel that transition today. Because Pluto is in Aquarius and is very slow moving, it has a profound effect over us, but just know that Pluto likes to take its time doing it. We are going to need to trust that there is a long-term picture that currently we seem blind to. Just know that what is unfolding is going to take us on a long road to drastically shift our priorities and in a few decades will bring us into a much better world.

The challenge is that we must live through this process currently. The only key to hold onto, is to follow your heart and to trust in your ability to discover and uncover the deeper meaning that is this life for each of us personally.

Each of you are here for a reason. Each of you signed up for this particular moment. And so, it is time to trust your higher self that knows it is time for us to learn something profound, and hopefully, we will have something of value to give others along the way.

With the world in chaos, it will almost seem more essential to follow your dreams right now. There is no more waiting. A large wave is coming, it is best to be ready to leap on that wave so you can ride it to the new and distant shore. Your dreams are the surfboard you are going to need to hang onto in those waves. Trust those dreams to carry you to your next level.

The greater challenge is to recognize that there will be no shortcuts and there is no one to save us but ourselves. We are going to have to listen to our own personal flow and then diligently follow that, ignoring the chaos happening around us. We are going to learn a powerful way to focus and stay on our course.

This is not the time to let the ego get out of control. Remember that we are not more important than others. This is one of the lessons that we are all learning. We are here to learn to love and accept each other and to learn to work together to make a better world. It will take all of us to do that.

Mercury is considering coming out of the retrograde cycle and it is also sextiling with Venus. This should make embracing this new reality a bit easier. Though it will still feel like a massive transition.
