Astrology for December 21, 2024

Today the big news is that the Sun goes into Capricorn. We may tend to take a more serious look at things, and we want the world to act in a more reasonable and responsible way. We look to find a way to complete things and move from a place that is stable and consistent.

What we want are results. What we want are structures in place that will allow us to feel safe.

But with the Mars retrograde in Leo and it impacting us in its slow cycle for the next six months … I am pretty sure that is not going to be the case even if we want it to be.

Fortunately, the focus during a Capricorn cycle is one that looks at the longer goals rather than those things that give us instant gratification. When we keep our sights on that longer goal, we worry less in the short term what manifesting.

Today, the Sun and Pluto will semi-sextile and while we want to feel more certain, the truth is that we are not so sure … about a lot of things. The answer is to focus on the small tasks that can be handled with the help of our Virgo Moon today.

This is a day to keep things small and simple.
