Astrology for February 23, 2025

The Moon in Capricorn helps us feel as if there is something solid under our feet. A small amount of stability goes a long way right now in allowing us to feel better. I will take as much as I can get while it is offered.

The big news today, is that Mars finally turns us around and we can feel as if we have some traction happening that allows us to feel anchored so we can grab hold of small bits for this moment.

You have heard me say before that when some planets go direct … they seem to lurch. Mars can be like that. Prepare for a powerful about face as we will not get a break or a pause in this shift because things are going to be full steam ahead.

Many have not liked the intense heavy feelings that this Mars retrograde have offered up at this time. But as the weeks progress there is going to be more fire in the tank and fuel in reserve. I expect more assertive responses to things and that may bring about a lot of upset and chaos. Past decisions will come into question and we cannot help but see those that are helping themselves to all the cookies in the cookie jar. We feel more motivated and that is bringing out a stronger and louder voice that is going to demand to be heard.

What comes next … is anyone’s guess. We want and demand action but those actions are going to be forceful and volatile.

Mercury’s trine to Mars demands us to do something … anything. We feel more alert and aware. We are concerned about what will come next and where we are going. Passions are going to run hot, high, and heavy for the next year. So, be prepared to know how to move constructively and keep focused on those things that really matter.

We can’t help but be a bit fatalistic right now. Blame that on Pluto’s semi-square to Mercury. Just pick your battles and know what you can and can’t control.

This is a perfect time for prepping your garden for the spring thaw. Get organized, figure out your strategy for the garden and get things in order so you have a simple way to proceed as the seasons change.
