Astrology for October 22, 2024

Doubt lingers in the ethers because of the Pluto/Sun square. We notice things that cause us to feel a bit out of step with our natural flow. Sometimes it is hard to put feelings into words. On one level we look for an excuse for what is going on in our body/mind/soul. But the externals still do not match some internal place that seeks solace and a place to rest. This is not the time to blindly trust others or assume that they will keep their word or promise. There is too much going on in the cosmos to make sense out of it all.

Right now, it is easy to see more problems than solutions. That is why it is time that we not depend on others but instead cultivate our own confidence and move in the direction that brings us more well-being and happiness. The external cannot control us unless we decide to let it.

It seems this particular astrological cycle is here to get us to let go even more. While we want connection, there are too many out there that believe love is a sort of icky over-attachment. This type of projection is a manipulation … not love. After all, true love is not based on need.

We move into the Sun sign of Scorpio, which asks us to look at the depth in every situation. Know that for the next month, emotionally we are going to be pulled around from many internal and external circumstances. This is going to be a journey and such places are often deeply personal and difficult to share. It is best to keep certain things to ourselves. Healing happens when we keep our own counsel and listen to our highest self rather than our fear.

Venus and the North Node will trine later today and this makes us want to find a way to be more in harmony with ourselves, those we love, and the world. We seem to want to be more cooperative in our approach to challenges. If you play your cards right, there might just be a golden opportunity come your way.
