Astrology for September 2, 2024

We have a New Moon tonight and as it is in Virgo and the Sun is also in Virgo, we get to embrace the practical and those things that we feel we need to concentrate on. This is an excellent time to get rid of more clutter whether it is mentally, emotionally, or physically. We crave a fresh start and while nothing is ever really simple, we attempt to get things in a new order that supports what our next goals are. We want to improve but we need to be careful to not put too much pressure on ourselves.
Focus on what is good about ourselves rather than where we are still a work in progress. It will feel as if many things are pulling on us all at once and so try to not notice the roadblocks but to keep taking the necessary detours to get slowly to our goal. Notice how you have expectations on yourself and then try to not make a mountain out of a molehill. That is not the best way to handle the situation.

Mars and Neptune will square this morning and so just be warned that expectations will change once again and the actions required from us will make us waver, as we have to let go of our agenda and instead do what is right in front of us.
For some this can feel like too many things are coming at us all at once. It makes us feel as if we are losing our momentum and make us question our reality. Don’t worry. Everyone will have a hard moment trying to find inspiration and figure out what we want.

The one warning is that the easy road is the wrong road. There are no shortcuts right now that will work. Take the slow and steady road and you will get there but not today. That may feel disappointing but try to not take it personally.

The positive is that Mercury will trine to Chiron and then it will biquintile to Neptune and that will leave us with a positive feeling if we focus on that rather than our weaknesses. This aspect intends to help us see our spiritual side and our more compassionate nature.
