Astrology For February 2025

While February may be the shortest month of the year, there is nothing that will not be touched and transformed during this cycle.

Mars the planet of energy, gumption, and drive will move forward, and the force of that movement is going to be enough to catch everyone’s breath! Jupiter is also moving direct, and these two powerful fire planets have plenty to do and expect every sign to feel their impact greatly.

We may be deep into the winter months but the fires in the astrology are just heating up. We start off with Venus going into Aries on February 4^th. And let’s just say that bold seems beautiful. Passions heat up and we feel sexy and alluring. Just know that during Venus in Aries we can be a bit too “out there”. We can desperately want to fall in love, and it might be with the wrong person. The suggestion is to go slow and to recognize that this heated energy flow will impact you through March 27^th. Keep your head on straight. Enjoy the rush but do not let yourself fall into the illusions of making a connection more than it actually is.

The “Great Benefic”, Jupiter also goes direct on February 4^th. That feeling that you just can’t get things going … finally seems to abate. We have the energy to move things into a creative space that is exciting and helps us to focus. One can move this energy into travel, new studies, or finally getting that book idea in gear. It is time to put your energy to something that really matters to you. The cosmos is giving you a chance to grab for that star.

February 7^th, the energy moves into a more spiritual bent as Neptune and the North Node in Pisces conjunct. Yes, I know everyone is asking some big questions of the universe and the Divine. And “No,” you are not getting the answers you were expecting. But all that water and Pisces energy is not for the faint of heart. We are in a quickly moving river, in the rapids, with a lot of water flowing. You are going to feel bounced around and twisted and turned by the waves. You are going to have trouble seeing with all that water and emotion in your face and you will not have a lot of time to make decisions. The current is too strong, and you are just going to have to put your faith in the current and trust you have enough skills and luck to move through these rapids and to weather the storm.

If you are a person that is good at going with the intuitive flow you are going to feel on purpose and as if life is finally becoming your dream. For others, that fear of letting go and going with the flow, will feel terrifying and it can make many very angry.

We have a Full Moon in Leo on February 12^th and that is going to ask you if you are really ready to be as big as you can be or if you are going to move in a way that does not allow you to really shine. Be big! Be bold! Discover who is really inside! If you are willing to really look, you might just finally see something that is going to be essential for you to express who you are and what you are really here to do.

Mercury will go into Pisces on February 14^th, a perfect sentimental moment for those longing to express love for Valentines Day. Write a love poem for that special someone. Do something very touching and sentimental and that shows how much their love means to you. Know that this can be a very special moment if you allow yourself to find how to express it meaningfully.

Then we are pulled into the oceanic currents of Pisces on February 18^th, so if you were trying to dip slowly into the cold winter waters, you are going to be dunked and drenched for the rest of this month. What is good about it is that the dreams of our soul seem to be coming alive and finding their way out into the world. You are waking up but the shock of that cold water is quite startling.

Mars finally stops going retrograde in Cancer on February 23^rd, and this stuck and sticky feeling will begin to see and move with more clarity and consciousness. Expect some power and enthusiasm to return. We feel less stuck and more willing to (metaphorically) slap some sense into some people. Just remember to do that with words that are honest and real. What will be clear is that we are not going to be told what to do. Not Now! Not Ever! We are not interested in the powerful having choice over our own freedoms.

And at the end of the month of February 27^th, there is a New Moon in Pisces to complete this cycle. We are here to dream and to find a way to inspire others. Just know it is a fine line between delusion and intuitive insight. That line is around functionality in the real world. If you are functioning well and pay your bills, are responsible and doing what it takes to care for yourself and others, then you are more able to trust intuitive insight. If not be warned to not listen to voices or thoughts that tell you to do ludicrous things.
