Weekly Astrology for February 9-15, 2025
The news this week is the cazimi with Mercury as it appears to enter the Aquarius Sun. Then the Moon is moving into Full (in Leo) and Mercury will shift into the deeply emotional sign of Pisces. This week, Mercury is busy with Uranus doing the West Coast Swing. It is coming into a square which will fully hit tomorrow. Just like that fast-paced dance, one will need to pay attention and to go with the syncopated flow. Sometimes a dance in life is about the playful interplay between rhythm, tension, learning how to not think but flow and it all ends up becoming a conversation between two very different people that somehow manage to blend energies because of the music that connects and directs them.
This week we seek to find a way to connect with another if we allow our own natural rhythm to be expressed through the music that we hear happening. When two bodies find how to move with the music … they still are able to be their unique and individual self but they also then together find a new way to blend their various personalities to create something beautiful and artistic.
If we could only look at life this way!
New ideas can be a part of this amazing week if you allow in new rhythms and patterns. Then see how those patterns can blend and flow with others.
Let go and just flow. Trying only leads to moments of impatience. Changing things around and shifting rhythms breaks us out of our tedious patterns and gives our rebellious nature a moment to express itself.
Something new is calling to us, the question is if we have the courage to put ourselves out there and be willing to find this new flow.
February 9th, Mercury goes into a Cazimi with Aquarius
In Arabic, the word, “kasmimi” is translated to “as if in the heart.” The power of Mercury is exponentially enhanced by seeming to enter into the Aquarian Sun. This is a powerful moment and one that can give us the clarity that have been sorely lacking over these many months. Words finally feel as if they have great energy to flow and as we are in the time of Aquarius, those words have a more unusual quality. Wisdom arises if one is open to the clarifying and honest reflections that are asking to be noticed and embraced. The connection to our intuition is heightened and we are feeling more dialed into the higher vibrations of the cosmos.
February 12th, Full Moon in Leo
A Leo Full Moon is courageous and kind. To those most hurt and vulnerable it offers a helping hand and supports being more generous with our hearts and souls. This is a time of sharing … not dumping. This aspect wants to hear what is working and what is right for you at this time. It is not in the mood to feel slimed by another’s drama and upsets.
But a Full Moon will illuminate the powerful shadows and fears that haunt the minds and souls of many. I say the word haunted for a reason. Because there are those that use their energy and words to infect souls with patterns of upset and dysfunction that are intended to break our will, cause us to flee, and not confront what is happening. It is a strategy being used currently by the wealthy and powerful and it is up to each of us to exorcise those demons from impacting our responses and dragging down our effectiveness.
This Full Moon wants to be warm and creative. It wants to express love deeply with courage and enthusiasm. We see clearly those that want to dismiss our truth and our worth. But under this powerful light … that finally begins to fail.
Uranus and this Full Moon are inviting us to a new place to stand and even dance (if we have the courage). Remember to be the most kind and caring to yourself first. That will allow you to have the energy to share authentically with those you care the most for.
February 13, the Moon moves into Virgo
Today, the Moon shift out of generosity and into curiosity. We see what is below the surface. The Leo Full Moon illuminated what we needed to see and now the rug is pulled up and we see in more detail the problem. Clearly, we need to implement some new plans. Clearly, it’s time to express our concerns and point out the flaws in the system.
February 14th, Mercury moves into Pisces
Mercury is a mental planet. Pisces is a feeling and intuitive sign. In this moment, they are attempting to figure out how to work to together. When the cognitive mind decides to let the creative side have some space and leeway, amazing things can manifest. Watch to see what your deep subconscious mind is trying to show the more conscious mind. There is healing that can come from analyzing our dreams. Messages are coming though. But do you have the awareness to grab them while you can? It is time to test out that new idea or dream. It is time to prepare for the season of Pisces that comes in next week. It is time to clear out the old thoughts and ideas and allow in the magic that is clearly presenting this week.
This is a week where the courage and compassion are stronger than the fear. Those places inside that others tried to attack, now allow us to feel even more determined. We finally feel as if we have the power to honorably claim our shields and pick up our swords.
A battle is coming. Everyone can feel it. But the spiritual warrior is awakening and willing to stand to protect the innocent. We are on a journey to explore what liberation from tyranny is going to look like and what it will take to reclaim our freedoms.
