Astrology for 10/14/2023

Get ready for the eclipse today at 1:55 EDT.
I have a funny way with eclipses. Either before, during, or after an eclipse, depending on the way it hits my personal chart I can get some incredible migraines. I got one a few days ago as one aspect hit my chart. And it forced me to bed at 5:30 pm and I slept till 5:30 am. It is like the energies are so strong I have to go unconscious in order to adapt to the massive waves of energy attempting to integrate into my body and energy field.
And I know that I am not alone in this phenomenon. Eclipses are powerful shifts in energy and even the fire, police, and hospitals brace for the onslaught of odd accidents and events around Full Moons and Eclipses. They know to double their staff during those times.
This one is going to be a doozy for obvious reasons.
while an Eclipse in Libra should be about focus and bringing things to balance, because of other astrological aspects, negotiating is really out of the question, and it seems that the tides have drastically turned in a varied of poignant ways that demand types of actions that are aggressive and definitive. The lines have been drawn and sides have been taken.
And now we will see an end with a terrible cost. That is the nature is such powerful eclipses. They force things into motion that turn the tides and change history.
It has always been so.
History is being written and what once was … will never be again. Alliances have been formed and independence is the struggle. But the fight is for the right to exist. The trouble is that when one is given the option to have a human existence, there are rules that govern the codes of karmic content to being here. Those that exist off the deaths of others will never survive the terrible tests of time because the consequences of karma will not allow certain things to continue indefinitely.
Expect to continue to see terrible suffering over the next 6 weeks. That is usually the time where we feel and experience the eclipses the most. Imbalances explode and force us to see what we did not want to see, address issues that have desperately needed addressing, and make us see that endings and new beginnings are necessary at this time.
For all this eclipse reveals it is odd because on so many levels we continue to feel in the dark. Many feel as if they are fumbling around in a pitch-dark cave, seeking a treasure that they cannot see, and they are seeking the way out … that they are trying to feel.
Because Chiron and Mercury continue in opposition this day is filled with uncertainty. Conversations lean into places of criticism and wanting to find fault.
People without enough understanding of the historical significance of this moment misrepresent what they see and only cause more problems, solving nothing at all and perpetuating even more pain.
There continue to be those who pull everything into the duality, and it is so much easier to blame a side than to see all the twisted steps that have brought us to this moment. We want to overly focus on something that we think really matters, when by doing that, we may miss entirely … the bigger picture.
