Astrology for 7/22/2023

We move into the sunny sign of Leo today. This promotes a sense of pride and puts a bit of bounce into our step. Our playful side is wanting to come out and play and we might as well take this moment and do just that. Why not start this sign off with a bang. The focus should be on what you want as an individual going forward. We are in the mood to claim the limelight for a moment and celebrate ourselves. A bit of drama never hurt anything. Especially when the intent is a playful one. Be generous, go a bit overboard for another and remember to keep your focus on sharing your gifts with others.
Venus dramatically turns retrograde in Leo and that can make us want to turn our back and walk away from certain things that no longer support deeper and more loving connection. Perhaps we got a recent taste of something so very yummy and now, we cannot go back to what was in the face of another reflection that is more loving and generous. There is not enough love in this world and it is time to step back from those that constantly find fault in our actions, choices, and gifts. Life it too short to surround oneself with those that will never see the beauty that we are.
Remember the direction is forward not backwards.
There is more if we have the courage to really look. There is more closeness if we are willing to let others in. All this energy in the astrology can make for some odd, unique, and unusual connections that seem to fill us up with what has been missing.
Just remember to not get too full of yourself. Arrogance with attitude can make things worse. Choices around love will be at the top of many lists. We will feel this retrograde even after it comes out on September 3rd. We may be figuring many things out till October 7^th.
Therefore, there is no need to be hasty as we have plenty of time to figure things out. Enjoy this moment. Let all the pieces become unwrapped. That is the way we will find if this is really what we seek.
Neptune and Jupiter will semi-square and know that we will feel the desire to idealize a few things for a bit. Best to stay realistic in our expectations. Dreaming (while lovely) may lead us down the path that only our rose-colored glasses actually see.
Things can feel a bit discombobulated and chaotic. So take your time, know that while we want to rush and get going, we may need to realize that stillness is favored over too much activity.
