We start the New Year with a feeling of greater depth and understanding. Much has transpired in 2021 and it has brought us to a place where we are beginning to see from a very different set of eyes, and feeling from a more open heart.
While we are praying for change and are trying to take responsibility for where we are presently at, there is much to do and still much confusion to muddle through.
But at least we are not alone in that feeling.
The forces of change are mounting in rapid succession and there is no denying that something greater than our small minds is at work to mold us out of our stagnation and into a place that can be more productive and loving.
January has an intensity to it but that should not come as a surprise to anyone.
It has been a wild ride for years but this month, we have a feeling of more acceptance and the beginning of less resistance.
Odd years in numerology are bizarre and …. Odd!
But even years are such that they intend to even things out and find a solution that is acceptable to more people.
The Beaver shows us that there is a lot of work ahead of us and we need to get started before the winter snows melt and breakthrough our safety nets and barriers that we have currently built. Those dams used to be enough to stem the raging waters of time.
But this year, the snows are deep, and the flow of water and emotions can take us to places that we may not be prepared for. That is why in January we all need to look closely at what is needed to move fully and consciously into 2022.
What is needed the most … is love. That is what the hummingbird card reminds us. We need to move only from our heart and the gifting places within that carry joy with them.
So much is changing that we will not be able to predict some events that are going to transpire.
Expect some surprises.
Especially as we get into February.
But that is next month……..
The cards indicate a creative abundance and explosion of many new ideas and that can generate some much-needed momentum to carry us productively into 2022.
The cards do have a warning and that is about staying stuck in our old places of hurt and pain. Sometimes our mind can be the instrument that we use against ourselves.
Put self-doubt behind and embrace another way of seeing ourselves and our place in this world. Holding onto old hurts only shows that we are willing to cause ourselves pain again and again.
And that is not a kind way to treat our heart and soul.
To heal the past, we may need to dive deeply into the wells of change and wash away the attachments that have held us, prisoner.
Freedom has a sweet feel and an enticing potential. Time to embrace those possibilities that are right there. If we are ready and willing to leap, we just need to listen to places that have greater wisdom and clarity. Then allow for this shift to happen with as much grace as possible.
This month, we realize that we are tired of our old reality and tired of listening to the old conversations in our head.
Movements are happening and all you need to do is to be willing to discover that which was hidden until we were ready to put our ego in its proper place.
Through understanding ourselves we finally heal. And that allows for deeper communion with others and opens doorways to a brighter and more hopeful world.
