5/9/2022 is the number 20.

5 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 20.

Then we can add the 2 + 0 to get the number 2.

The name of the game today, is “Expand Your Mind”. As we roll into the number 2, there is a choice to allow the beauty of the minds ability to learn and grow or to lock down and limit perception, insight, and refuse to see the unfolding changes happening in the world.
I try to consistently choose the former.

While joy expands.
Hate contracts and makes smaller.
Love allows freedom and choice.
Fear intentionally limits the options and makes unreasonable demands.

When one gives too much power to the mind, confusions reigns.
When one uses the mind to seek out truth … organization and structure become paramount.
When one seeks to be right, the mind can twist all things into something that one does not recognize.
The monsters in the mind can corrupt goodness and positive intentions.
The ego will forever seek to gain advantage over others.

Using the mind to feed only the ego becomes a life filled with shallowness, pretense, and show.
Today, make an agreement to use the mind constructively … to learn, expand, share, and explore the possibilities.
Do not allow the mind to be the master of your soul. The mind is to be a slave to the soul. Not the other way around. Those that believe only in what they believe they know will miss the obvious that is happening right in front of them.

Astrology for Today

The Moon is in Leo until around dinner time and gives us a desire to strive for something else. But that Moon is being opposed by Saturn in Aquarius and that adds degrees of anxiety, agitation, problems and delays. Expect to get frustrated.
But do your best to just …. let it go.

Once the Moon goes into Virgo this evening the practical mind overrides the passionate drives of the past few days. It is time to get things organized so they can get going for this upcoming week.
Establish better routines that give us insight into ways to correct some imbalances and allow each of us to heal.

We are all feeling the movement of the Mercury retrograde that is starting. While Mercury just appears still in the sky, know that more delays are coming and that there is the potential for miscommunications and misunderstandings. Information becomes less exact, and feelings begin to direct the course ahead.
