In yogic numerology, the number 7 loves to plan, and to think far into the future.
Sometimes to do that we must first figure out how to be more fully here in this moment. Those first precarious steps for change require us to get out of our hole or our old mindset.
That can feel like trying to climb out of a cave or a dark hole that is slippery and difficult to navigate. But when one discovers the determination to do things differently and decides to try rather than wallow in self-pity, that is the essential step that will allow us to find the gumption to take chances and to recognize that if we do not have the will … then there really will be no way.
There are always pathways available to us that we cannot see. We cannot see them because we believe that things should go the way we expect to validate our worth. But too often in life the path we seek is not handed to us on a silver platter. More often than not, we will have to radically follow a seemingly crazy impulse to find the path that we are seeking. Notice if you keep waiting. Then ask, “What are you waiting for? And why?”
Too often a life can pass us by while we wait for the conditions from our mind to match the external reality. I have found that more often than not, they never go the way of my mind.
Real growth moves much more quickly when you are willing to not wait and instead try as many new things as you can.
This game of life wants you to have experiences. That is the only way to gain true wisdom.
