Numerology/Astrology for 10/17/20
10/17/20 is the number 4.
If you add the 1 + 0 + 1 + 7 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 4.
The pendulum swings back and forth. Passing from one extreme to another. Occasionally hitting a balance point for short periods of time. Today, might have that brief moment of balance. Use it while you have it. Because those ends of the pendulum constantly move.
Traditions are supposed to be a guide not an absolute. They are often the rituals that bring us together and allow us to find our center through that joining with others. And I believe that those traditions and rituals have changed through time. Each generation adds a bit more insight or perspective. Just as we mature … our traditions and personal rituals also must mature.
We are clearly in one of those moments now. Families have had to come together in new ways. Work and school has also changed. While this new reality has taken us away from some of the ego distractions and perceived necessities that were making us feel too busy and overwhelmed, we have now come into a new rhythm and “Perhaps” a better alignment and balance with what is really necessary and important. Time will tell whether this change is going to help us evolve into a better society.

Astrology Today
The Moon finishes up in Libra and goes into Scorpio while you are deeply asleep. You awaken, revived and passionate in a sort of intense way. Notice those edges and remember to stay kind.
There is a Sun and Neptune aspect that activates a desire to help. Know that a little understanding goes a long way. Know that you smile can inspire many to have confidence to keep going just when they need it.
Be gracious and grateful because everyone needs a break from all the demands.
As adults say to children, “Use your words!”
We need civil discourse, exploration of values, in-depth dialogues. We need to not focus any more on the past. If someone brings up any historical events to try to explain this moment, tell them they are not seeing this moment in time in its uniqueness. Those that live in the past will refuse to adapt to the future unfolding.
When people are miserable enough they will bring their mental, emotional, and spiritual focus to this moment and together from that place all of us can successfully move forward.
