Numerology/Astrology for 1/10/15

Today we are in the number 10. The number 10 is a lucky number because it can go one of two ways, into the 10 or into the number 1. When you pull into the elements of the number 10 you will be called to awaken and to recognize and understand the needs of humanity. When you begin to notice that you have no choice but to step up into power and lead because you see that what the world needs is peace and harmony. It is only through the expression of true power that sees the needs of all that a redistribution of wealth and power can be manifested. When a leader is optimistic, confident and shows the powers of originality, adaptability, and determination then we feel as if we can trust their lead and feel safe. When the 10 reduces into the number 1 you will feel as if you want to keep things more simple, get back to basics, find a routine that allows you to express your uniqueness, and flow in oneness with nature. The driving force in the number 1 becomes compassion and expressing your authentic self. Both are wonderful numbers and perhaps today you can try both expressions out in your world. After all, you can be powerful and authentic at the same time. Mars semi-squares Pluto this morning and your desires may feel both intense and difficult to satisfy. Efforts to make changes could be thwarted, or power struggles emerge. You will need all the patience and flexibility you can muster. Towards midday, the Virgo Moon harmonizes with the Capricorn Sun, helping to make you feel more grounded. However, as the day advances, the Sun moves towards an awkward angle with Neptune and Jupiter, and there can be an attraction to impractical ventures or a situation in which you want to put your faith in something but you can’t seem to quite make it work out the way you had intended.

Over and over again, I see women who are beautiful, radiant, sensuous, and divine but they do not see themselves as that. Our culture puts distorted lenses over our eyes and makes women see imperfections where unique traits could be taken into a place of beauty, art, and unique expression. It is the inner dialogue that you tell yourself about your body, emotions, and feminine expression that either makes them expand into something striking or suppresses them into a place of hidden self-consciousness. Confidence is the key to turning something from a perceived disadvantage to an advantage. There have been many moments when I had to fake it until I made it. I hear women say to me, “I can’t do it if I don’t feel it.” But you can begin to learn to feel something when you try on a new energy or flow. Think of it like trying on clothes. On the hanger, it often does not look like it will work for your body but all great shoppers know that you have to try things on. When you try it on, suddenly you see some quality that was not obvious at first, the color, the shape on your curves, the way it drapes over specific areas, etc. Looking at your unique gifts and traits is no different. You have to try confidence on. You have to learn how to move and walk that gives others the best potential opportunity to see what you have to offer. Let go of the fear of being seen. Choose to be seen. And yes, you are correct that your particular flavor may not be everyone’s cup of tea but there will be those who light up when your beauty and presence walks in the door.
