Numerology/Astrology for 11/3/15
November 3rd is the number 4. As we finish up one of the best weeks of the year. Yes, I know that it has not always been easy but at least you should be feeling a bit more grounded, stable, and in a space where finding the balance is not so much of a challenge. The number 4 reminds us to take a reflective moment to review your past year. Look at all that you have gone through. Look at where you are right now. See how much has changed and appreciate yourself in ways that allow you to see the determination and magnificence that you are. What you want today is perspective. Perspective requires that you look back and see the changes and growth. It allows you to see the movement that does happen when you are consistent in your goals. Sometimes that goal is just to feel better. Sometime that goal is to survive some huge event or change that has happened. Right now you should see that you have survived, you have thrived and you are coming into a place of grounded clarity. There are always more things to learn. But let that be tomorrow. Let today just be today. Let today be enough. The Moon is in affectionate, confident Leo all day. A Last Quarter Moon occurs this morning with a square between the Scorpio Sun and Leo Moon. This points to some sort of crisis of consciousness. After basking in the awareness symbolized by the full light of the Moon at the time of last week’s Full Moon, you are being asked to disperse your knowledge and come to a point when you need to sort out what works for you, in preparation for next week’s New Moon, when something new is born once again. This is not the best time to start a major project, as the decreasing light of the Moon symbolizes a descent into unconsciousness. It’s time to begin finishing up the details of things, which were conceived at the last New Moon. A longer-term influence comes exact today: Jupiter opposes Chiron. As well, Mercury aggravates this opposition, and you should be aware of exaggerated perceptions and claims. The Jupiter-Chiron opposition is the first in a set that will come exact again in February and August 2016. You can be especially hungry for meaning and understanding, but it can be difficult to align yourself with a personal philosophy or belief system that truly reflects your core. You might be led astray by beliefs and ideas now, or you might experience some form of crisis of faith. Something might happen that challenges your core beliefs, and you are made aware of it through a relationship or someone’s perspective. You might also feel alone in your opinions, visions, or plans for the future, as others don’t seem to understand your vision. The choices you made in the past may no longer seem wise. It is important to look within and come to a greater understanding of what you truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that doesn’t truly serve your purpose. New business endeavors may require a closer look before pushing forward. A project may have ended and now you might be feeling restless without it. You could also face challenges in relationships due to differing beliefs.

Life presents situations that force you to look at where you live in a place of duality. What I mean is where you have a double standard. You might believe that something is good for you but it might not be good for others. We live in a world of double standards. This is because of the control we want to have on others and situations in our life. We often do not want others to control us but we expect others to bend to our desires, wishes, and expectations. We expect others to behave in ways that allow us to feel in control or comfortable. Sorry, but that never works out. We cannot control anyone or anything. I learned a long time ago that everyone is going to do exactly what he or she wants to do eventually. That is why so many keep secrets. Sometimes it is a need that is being fulfilled. Sometimes it is us wanting to “look good”. Sometimes what others think about us is so important that we will maintain a false sense of self to make others comfortable or to match their expectations of us. Regardless it all comes down to being who you really are. Being authentic from your core. Not from needing to “look good” or needing others approval but in finding what is deeply true from the place of your essence. When you come from that place that is instinctually authentic, then regardless of whether others judge it or not, it will not matter to you because you are being congruent with who you essentially are. Most people live their life trying to get social approval from others. If others accept them then they are okay. But molding yourself into what others want is never a true expression of who you are. When you do that it builds resentment up and never feels as if you are completely seen, appreciated, and loved for being this unique combination of energies. And yet there is a risk and it is a big one. Showing up for yourself takes courage and there is always that chance of rejection, loss, or of experiencing that you have disappointed others. But the goal is worth the risk. Life is too short at times to wait till tomorrow, next month or next year to finally allow your essence to come out. When you take that risk you are being loving to you first and foremost. When you want to discover who is really inside, you are risking everything. Just remember that others may or may not appreciate that effort. And whether they get it does not matter in the long run. You need to get you, deeply and from a place of intimate loving expression. When that comes out, others that have been using you may leave but then they are on their path also and it is completely normal for paths to diverge at points. No one can live another person’s karma for long. Each person has to take the steps and choices that show them also how to find their authentic expression.
