Numerology/Astrology for 1/29/21

1/29/21 is the number = 17.

Add the 1 + 2 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 17. 1 + 7 = 8.
A lot is happening and there are days when you need to stop and just breathe. Don’t let all the stuff get to you. Know that most of it is not within your control. That is just how life rolls sometimes. Don’t take things personally that are outside your control.
Emotions are raw and on edge. There is no need to make a point right now. It would just look and sound like ego in play. Authenticity will give you eventually what you want. Those that cannot be real with you will eventually just drift away.

Astrology Today

Mercury is slowing down to turn retrograde in Aquarius on Saturday. Many have been feeling it for days. That mixed with the Full Moon on the 29th is making for some interesting challenges. It is probably best to tend to phone calls, computer things, upgrades on obvious systems, and those details that need to be addressed.

Today, Friday, the Moon is in generous Leo, supporting us in being bold and brave in our expressions to others. Take pride in small things and do the best possible. Do those things that help us to feel honor, certainty, and compassionate emotional expression. It is important to show how much we care.

There is a Mercury-Venus semi-sextile. This brings a playful approach to the normal rational methods previously used.

Be aware that it is almost too easy to say what is on our mind.

Perhaps we should refrain from just blurting things out.
Think and reflect before we act or speak.

It might be difficult to concentrate. It has been more and more difficult over the past few weeks because of the accelerated astrology.

Just know that we are not alone in this feeling. Just slow down, take our time, listen carefully to others, and make an effort. That is often the best we can do. And that is enough.

While the desire to get our own way is strong, that is less important than helping others. Step away from our own agenda and take a time out to help out another.

Quote

Poem – Youth is a Time

Youth is a time.
And exuberance was my middle name.
Those moments of memory linger in the mind.
Floating in the sparkling light of preciousness.
Glimmers of feeling caught in the silken threads of timelessness.
Waving in the breezes of connection woven by authentic expression.

Such moments hold a soul tight.
To something eternal.
A perfect landscape.
A magical light.
A peace filled emptiness.
Full with everything which is not mind.

That gift is a blending of what is physical.
With that which needs no form.
Spoken in the softest language of twilight.
Encased in a bubble of effortless abandon.
Surrounded in the simple acceptance of what is.

I remember when I lived in Salt Lake City and I was working up in Park City. There was a tremendous snow storm and I needed to get over the hill, over the pass and back down into Salt Lake.
On the Park City side, the snow was not so bad but I knew better, having lived there for 20 years. So I put the snow chains on and slowly made my way up the hill. At the top of the hill at the Summit, there was a foot of snow on the other side! The storm was on the other side and it was dumping!
Just over the pass there were trucks jack-knifed and off the road and other cars spun into ditches.
The snow was falling so quickly that it was hypnotizing and mesmerizing. It was difficult trying to watch the road and deal with the confusion of all the snow blowing and gusting around.
At one point I had to open my window to look at the side of the road to determine where the edge was as there were no car tracks in front of me to follow.

Miraculously I got down the hill but then I had to get back up a hill to get to my house.
It was so slippery that even with the chains on my car I had to do “S” shapes going up hills to gain traction.

Eventually, I could gain no more traction and so I just had to park the car on the side of the road. I just could not get any further.
Then I walked the rest of the way home.

That night, the wind picked up and whistled through the canyons loudly.
I thought it would tear the roof off my house.

Fortunately, it did not.

The next day, I had appointments in the morning and I opened the garage door to shovel the driveway so that “hopefully” I could get my car up the hill later in the day after work.

But I instead, as the garage door opened … I faced a 9 foot wall of snow in the driveway.

The wind had pushed all the snow off the roofs and it landed in the driveway.

Realizing that this was going to make me late, I called my clients and explained that we would have to reschedule. They laughed because they also had their own snow stories and it was going to be treacherous to get anywhere.

I spent the next 4 hours shoveling snow out of the driveway.

So, yesterday we got snow here. About a foot which is a lot for us. I did not have to go anywhere and my driveway is very long. I did not have the intention of shoveling it out.

What I did notice was that the birds were acting insane and desperate for seeds to keep their body heat up.

I put cookie sheets out for them because the seeds just disappeared in the snow.

It was a bird feeding frenzy.

And it made my heart happy.

Watching the snow, the birds grateful and the quiet of the sound of snow falling, was soothing to the nervous system.

I made sure to feed the wild cat extra food to keep her warm. It has been bitterly cold.

I hope you all are staying dry, warm, and happy. May the winter become a time of reflection and peace. May hearts reach out to others so that appreciation and care become the norm again.
