1/30/22 is the number = 10

Add the 1 + 3 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 10. 1 + 0 = 1.

The Number 10 or the Number 1.

The Number 1 is the number of humility, and it asks us to be an example of unity and independence. Today, move from your heart when possible and notice when in some moment we are coming from our head rather than our heart.

With the Number 10, it asks us to show courage and strength in the face of all things that arise in this moment. Take today to do things by putting all your concentration and focus into them. When you are in resistance you will not have the energy to make great things, as your focus is fractured and diffused.
Find the ways to focus the mind in places that lead to positive directions and accomplishments that one can feel proud of. And move from a place of humility and authenticity to get there.

What a wonderful world it would be if we were able to lead from our heart rather than our mind.

Astrology Today

The Capricorn Moon tries to keep us on task and to finish things up. The details do matter.
Uranus and the Sun will square off today and it demands changes but often it can feel as if those changes are more difficult because they challenge what we believe about ourselves. And these two planets are operating from a place of a demand rather than a request.
Things seem to be disrupted and expect plans to go awry. This can leave us in a state that feels unsettled as we are being required to do things very differently.

There is an undercurrent that makes us want to bolt and do what we want to do. But at this time, our judgement is not aligned with truth, and we are incapable of thinking clearly.
Impulsive gestures are not advised as they will lead to more heartache and suffering. Temperamental choices will lead to poor decisions and outcomes that could make things more painful.
Frustrations are arising but they are often not from what we think is causing them. They are based on our past karmic lifetimes, the journey to awaken, our current life choices and circumstances, and the lessons we are still attempting to learn.

The Sun and Venus will semi-sextile and that will bring us to the awareness that what we want for comfort … is not what is happening at this time.
Rather than fall into the human traits of tension, guilt, and indecision, know that what we want to believe is correct for us, is clearly not what the universe has up its sleeve for our growth and evolution.

When I was in my 20’s I was in a series of workshops that were “personal growth workshops.”

At the beginning of one workshop, the facilitator said to each person that we were going to play a game. That game was that we could sit in any chair we wanted but that we had to get that chair first.

It was called “The Chair Game”!

If we wanted a particular chair but someone was sitting in it, we had to ask them for their chair.

While that sounded simple … the trick was going to be in what happened if they did not want to give us their chair because (perhaps) they wanted to sit there.
So, as I started the game I tried to ask nicely for a few chairs and that failed. I went to another … and another.

Until everyone had a chair but me.

I wanted to play the game fully and so I decided to focus on one chair and there was a woman in that chair. I tried everything I could come up with to have her give me her chair.

I tried asking nicely. Then I tried guilt. Then anger. Manipulation. Coercion. Money. Bribery. Exchanges. Free massages. Free readings. Etc. …
You get the drift.

But nothing I came up with worked. Finally, the moment came that I did not have any other options or ideas. There was nothing I could do to cajole her into giving me what I wanted.
So, I went over and sat in my original chair.

The facilitator then asked me the question, “Suzanne … How do you feel?”

I replied, “I am okay. I did my very best. I tried in every way I could come up with but the reality is that she was not going to give me that chair and so I have to accept that.”

He asked me if I felt complete?
And surprisingly I did!

He then said to the group, “Suzanne was willing to play that game fully and because of that she got the real prize in this game. The game is not about getting what you want. Life is just like that. You are not always going to get what you want. Success does not come from getting what we want. Success comes from learning through the journey of resistance. Life is going to move in ways that seem to be contrary to what your mind believes. We have to learn the rules of Earth in order to be successful in this domain. We have to learn one of the toughest lessons … That when we do not get what we want we have to let go. In letting go we find a sense of completion and satisfaction. And then we have to go on with our life.”
