Numerology/Astrology for 1/8/15

Today we are in the number 17/8, which puts us in a bit of a quandary. The eight is usually about feeling into your depth and when you do that often sorrow, grief, and regret comes to the surface. But the 8 is also the number of infinity. This indicates that there is a place where you can step beyond the old heavy emotions and into the place of your infinite self. How we work this with the astrology is to recognize that in this moment there is a touch of destiny at work and your feelings of optimism give you the energy to really take a look at the tough problems and the situations that have made you the most uncomfortable. When you see that you are infinite then dealing with the present situation somehow seems more bearable. There is playfulness in the air today with the Moon in Leo all day, but there is also profundity in our thoughts, communications, and impressions. The Moon moves into Virgo this evening, stimulating our love of or need for order in our lives. Emotional satisfaction comes from helping others and tending to details.

A really powerful woman who embodies her gifts with grace and confidence can be very intimidating to men especially. It can be one of the reasons that women hold back and do not step fully into the magnificent presence and power of their feminine birthright. As women we want to love but we are infinitely sensitive to how much people in our lives can handle. Intuitively women operate from the place that if something that they are doing is shutting others down or making them feel insecure or bad about themselves, then they will hold back because opening love and sharing love is the primary driving force in women. But it is time for women to stretch that edge and expand into their essential power and grace because it is now time for a better balance and holding back to make others comfortable is no longer appropriate. As you stretch, they will also have to stretch. And if we do it together as a unified force of good then it will call others to awakening and becoming more fulfilled in their own lives. Again, this is for the greater good of all. It is not just for yourself and your own need to control or dominate over others. It is about becoming a Sisterhood of Love that supports growth and heals by illuminating the truth.
