Look to what things make us emotionally and physically dependent.

Addictions of all sorts are causing our current world circumstances.
There are those that are addicted to thoughts and ideas. There are those that need to believe they are right or that they are the good people.
There are those that are addicted to being emotionally dependent to feel loved or appreciated.

But all dependence … is about attaching to something outside ourselves.
And such things are always doomed to failure. Happiness is not outside us. Happiness is when we are peaceful within. That peacefulness gives us the ability to react and respond with clarity to the external situations that arise.

In life, there are lines in the sand that are drawn to show us the barriers that we have generated to grow.
All attachments eventually must be released for us to find freedom and awareness.

We are an island sitting in a vast ocean of change.

We are secure when we no longer need to rearrange.

We are the wisdom of calm within a storm.

We are the freedom to which we were born.

Turn away from the patterns of hate.

Release those hounds so they can go back to Hell’s gate.
And then turn away from the games of war.

Even though … we can never completely ignore.

Those that choose to compile karma upon themselves.
And like to mold themselves into the Devil’s elves.

There are those that will regret this day.

Heaven hath great fury against those that betray.

The sacred trust to protect all life.

Especially when they hold a knife.

To the throats of the innocent.

That is why we need to be vigilant.

We cannot allow the distractions of a few.

To allow this world to come unglued.

Lash out at those that lie.

Refuse to listen and refuse to deny.

That which we see is poisoning our peace.

That is how we get conflict to cease.
