Numerology/Astrology for 8/6/19

 

8/6/19 is the number 8. Things will continue to deepen and intensify. We can blame the number 8 and the Moon moving into Scorpio. Perhaps the full impact of these past few days finally hits. Perhaps we begin to see the continued suffering that is happening because of choices and inaction. While it is summer and there are so many things to enjoy, I suggest focusing on what is working and move towards all constructive actions. Sometimes small actions have great impact over time. Change comes slowly for some. While others want it all right now. I see myself riding two turtles. I have one foot on a slower land-loving turtle. That plods along at its own tedious pace. The other foot is on an ocean turtle. And what is amazing about ocean turtles is their grace but also speed in the water. They can go into cruise control and move slowly through the coral reefs but they can also move very quickly. Sometimes earth moves tremendously slowly but there are other elements in this world besides just earth. Water and air can move more quickly. Fire can move more rapidly than anticipated. Take this moment to feel into the flow of each of the elements. And then become the ether, the 5^th element. One that is an integration of all of them.

Once you get into work, the Moon will move into Scorpio for the next two plus days. It is a focus for sensuality, sexuality, and passion. The negative mood of this moon is one of fighting and revenge. So, let’s all make love not war. That is what the world needs at this time. Expect a lot of energy regardless and you get to choose what to do with that. Hopefully you will want to bring new insights and experiences into your life. And use that energy to make the changes more easily rather than with more conflict.

The Moon in Libra (before it goes into Scorpio) will square Cancer in the middle of the night as you are sleeping. If you happen to wake up during that time, you are being asked to download some interesting spiritual information. If you have serious decisions to make, do that with careful consideration. After all, with big choices often arise difficulties and so much is happening in the astrology that nothing will actually go according to any plan or schedule. Put in some wiggle room and variation, just in case.

The Moon in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus. If people seem a bit off kilter, you are right. Eccentric behavior and misguided emotions will magnify any internal distortion you have. Moods are fluctuating too quickly and there is a reactive quality to those who are less emotional stable. This aspect concerns me because of all the shootings happening. It is just the kind of impetus that can set off a string of unstable people to do horrific things. But I will hope for calm minds and healed hearts.

Part of this shift is because the Libra Moon shift into Scorpio makes the priorities also change. The Libra Moon likes balance and discussion. The Scorpio Moon wants to transform, change, and grow. But that change can come in the form of some sort of death and rebirth. We are the Phoenix that is attempting to rise out of the ashes.

The Libra Moon wants to focus on our relationships, compromise, and be gracious. But the Scorpio Moon is deliberate, strategic, perceptive, and emotional.

The astrology is moving towards a Sun-Jupiter trine tomorrow and it is allowing us this opportunity to grow and improve our situations. It is a request from the universe for us to move up to the next level.

Mark Twain wrote the Book, “Letter from Earth” before he died. He made sure in his will that it not be published until after his wife’s death because as a Baptist from the south, his story would have gone against the extreme religious beliefs of the time. Even after his wife’s death, his daughter did not publish it until she was on her deathbed because she finally believed that the world sentiment had changed and that her father’s works belonged to the world. So they were published in 1962. It is a story, told by Satan as he watched God create the universe and as he was banished from Heaven for one Celestial day which was a hundred million earth years. And he came down to Earth to see how this world moved. The story goes that Satan then wrote letters back to the Archangels telling them of what it saw.

I read this book in the 1980’s and it was astoundingly and blatantly truthful in its ability to point out the ridiculousness of religious beliefs. Definitely one worth reading. Below is a quote from the book. Enjoy!
