Poem – Mankind’s Grapple With The World
In a world still grappling with ancient scars,
Where wars’ crimson echoes stain the living’s hearts.
Women, divided, fail to grasp their power’s might,
Instead of unity, they perpetuate the fight.
Values veiled by the lure of material gain,
Conscience drowned in the pursuit of personal bane.
Corporations, beholding the investor’s throne,
Neglect their laborers, leaving them to groan.
Amidst this chaos, the unstable and insecure,
Don masks of enlightenment, their motives impure.
Preying on the vulnerable, they deceive and sway,
Feigning guardianship, leading many astray.
Blinded by societal norms, we wear deceptive smiles,
Yet within, the lurking wolves craft their beguiling wiles.
Those who claim truth often wander most lost,
Their words, a deceptive mirage, defending a facade at all costs.
Illusions woven thick, blurring reality’s thread,
Only with open hearts can we discern truth from dread.
Scrutinize agendas, for demons find their stay,
In desires unfulfilled, they wield their sinister sway.
To be complete within, unswayed by want or lack,
Contentment dwells in the soul, no shadows to track.
Amidst plenty, let the few not hoard and grasp,
Sharing from abundance, in this bountiful clasp.
When hearts overflow, there’s no need for thievery,
Ego’s whispers quelled, embracing harmony’s reverie.
In a world where there’s enough for all to share,
Let’s relinquish greed, and instead compassion declare.
