Poem – On Halloween Night
On Halloween Night, we embrace the goblins and ghouls,
Who frolic in the darkness, ignoring all rules.
They grant us a moment to tremble and quiver,
To transform into pirates, or a mystical river.
We chuckle and cackle, a mix of fear and delight,
Dancing with the spirits, under the moon’s eerie light.
The pumpkins aglow, with a ghostly stare,
And we ponder the realms that we’re yet to dare.
‘Tis the season to honor both life and demise,
Contemplating if we’ll see another sunrise.
In a world of uncertainties, we seek a release,
Tonight’s the night, let’s revel in peace.
So, don your masks, let costumes come alive,
Step out into the dusk, let the festivities thrive.
Halloween is upon us, with candy and playful games,
A night to be free, where no one calls names.
