Wow! Yesterday was a day!

My friend in Utah had a bowl obstruction and was in the hospital for days as they tried, unsuccessfully to get things moving and it ended in a surgery last night about 5 pm.

She is doing better and about to get all the facts from the surgery in a few minutes.

Whew! That was a good outcome for her. She is now in healing mode, but that is okay because she was in terrible pain and could not get anything down without it coming back up for the last few days.

Coco the stray mama is resting at the vet. I have her there for the next few days to help her heal. She is very feral and once that cage door is open …  she is going to bolt and put pressure on those sutures. I want her to have a good chance to not pull out those sutures, so she has a good outcome.

The male who disappeared yesterday showed up for breakfast today. That is one good sign. I still have hope to catch him and get him fixed also.

I am crossing my fingers that I succeed in the time I have set for the vet.
