Quote
The greatest powers that exist can be in the smallest of things.
The soil that gives life has more power than most kings.
The fire that consumes … burns with a force that can cause fear.
While water inspires new beginnings to appear.
We believe in our arrogance that we are to have it all.
But that only allows arrogance and ego to continue to brawl.
Let the softness within become the force for a greater good.
Let the awareness within become something great to be understood.

The ruins of my ego have fallen like the leaves on the tree.
I can witness all those places where I refused to be me.
The yellow leaves reward the expansion of my understanding.
They are now pages … falling with the softest landing.
The boughs lay bare in the cold blue light.
The wind sings through them as the birds take flight.
The twilight lingers and pulls me deeper in.
The western sunset rewards the endings that can now begin.
The black night invites the shadow within.
I dance in the fire and to release the ashes into the wind.
And as that wind drifts the leaves into soft piles.
I reflect upon the many moments and many miles.
All that I consumed now must be given away.
To nourish those next … that come along to play.
May others see the richness of my life.
And play on the earth rather than create more strife.
