I am preparing for an assortment of lovely friends to come and stay. The first couple are dear friends of my husband’s past. They all worked on an organic farm together up in Willow Creek, in Humboldt County.

It is so fun to meet those that were of impact and close to those we love.

They give us an insight into who they were in another chapter of their life. We learn what shaped them into the person they are now.

They are arriving today (as I am writing this blog on the 14^th of October). So, I have been busy emptying and cleaning the hot tub, preparing the cabin for them and making all necessary arrangements so that this moment is special and one to make memories.
Then next week, a friend of mine is coming from Utah.

As we are all getting older and embarking on these new lives that carry us towards and into retirement (if such a thing will ever happen in my reality), we have more time to connect in meaningful ways that allow us to grow, review, engage, and connect.

I look forward to having those moments to have time and be a part of another’s deeper quest for completion and resolution in this lifetime.
