There are places that what is on the other side.

Tries to get our attention and will refuse to hide.

We do not just exist in this time and space.

We exist in many dimensions and even have another face.

The many faces that we are … coexist.

And touch into this reality to help us subsist.
Am I dead? Am I alive?
Am I here? Am I still forty-five?

What we are is not what we see.

I am a spirit, and I am also that tree.

When life reaches out and touches our soul.
It is asking us to become more whole.

Spirits walk with us, side by side.

They give us hope and help us understand the divide.

Those places that we are broken and still not whole.
Need our love so that we can learn to console.

What has been wounded and needs our love.

So that we can be free and stop being impatient of.

Those places that got hurt and still feel the pain.

Wounds are a gift … they are not a bane.
Our wounds show us how to be in a more compassionate place.

That is how we learn to live and give much more grace.
