Often people come to us in a specific moment in time.

They come to help us shift or open on a dime.

They do not come to stay or hold our hand.

They have their own journey that they must walk on this land.

They too have things that need to be done.

And when those things have had their run.

Perhaps we will meet as the circles come around.
Perhaps in those moments when life counts down.

We will smile at each other and remember our younger days.
And now as the egos finally fall away.
Those bigger conversations will finally be had.

And all those mental games that made things seem so bad.

Will fall away with the veils from our eyes.

And together we will ascend up into the skies.

Blog

We are on our way home and what a ride it was. Pouring rain, traffic, and the darkness that covered the sky with early evening.

We decided to not go to Spokane and expose my 86-year-old mother to whatever bug my husband caught.

While he is not bad … he is sick and that is enough for me to pull the plug on the holiday adventure.

Fortunately, the airlines was willing to give us a credit that we can use up till the end of October 2023. I am sure I will make my way up there soon enough.

But for now, we are in a Best Western in Sutherlin, Oregon.
The last few hours were no fun driving in the dark. My husband took over the driving. I just don’t see well in such conditions anymore.
So, we are now sleeping in a bit just to recover from the intense driving.

It was wonderful to hang out with his family and I look forward to seeing them all again.
May all of your journeys be safe on the way home also.
