Vulnerability is on the rise.

There are too many voices and so much that cries.

We hear them in the shadows of the night.

They are in pain and still trying to fight.

Those that die for what they believe

Are asking those alive to stop being naïve.

Too much is happening to hide in a cave.

Too many are suffering because of those that enslave.

And most would rather die for freedoms cry.

They would rather fight … then to a tyrant comply.
May the colors of yellow and blue.

Be something that our mind cannot misconstrue.

While the red, white, and blue used to be a call.

Now it is the yellow and blue that enthrall.

I will never see those colors ever again.

And not remember a powerful time when.

A people chose to fight in what seemed a lost cause.

Against an enemy whose bloodied jaws.

Wanted to destroy the people so their land he could take.

An enemy whose thirst for power could never be slaked.
