Freedom is the fresh air we breathe.
Freedom is the allowance that we bequeath.
Freedom is permission to just be.

We become free from all the projections and debris.

That others formulate to bolster who they think they are.

And when we allow each person to become their own personal star.

Freedom gives us permission to be ourselves.

Freedom is an option to put hate on the shelves.
A hero is someone who understands that freedom comes.

Not from conflict, war, or guns.

Freedom walks together with others in hope.

Freedom holds potentials that allow us to cope.
Freedom wants to make a better world.

It cares not whether a flag is unfurled.
Mankind wants to declare … it is free.

But that is impossible if one does not understand the concept of liberty.
Liberty is the freedom of choice.

But recently one group took away all women’s voice.
Freedom is not an award to be won.

Freedom is a marathon that must be personally run.
Freedom cannot be silenced when ideals and values are being attacked.
Republics die when the rights of a few … are sacked.
Take a look at your freedoms on this day.

And notice how many have recently been taken away.

Then instead of falling into despair.
Get very mad and show that you care.

By dropping the apathy that some have intentionally inbred.

Into the minds of those they did not want to get ahead.
Our society has been poisoned by a desperate and devious few.

And that is nothing that is historically new.

Great thinkers have warned of this time.

But once again a great majority are blind.

And that is why we are doomed to repeat the falls.

Of great civilizations whose wisdoms still echoes in the ancient halls.
Perhaps we will finally remember and globally change.

Before our freedoms are taken by the deranged.

We are living in a powerful moment in time. One that history books will speak of for centuries to come. Many great thinkers will use our lives as a teaching moment for future generations.
We will become the example of what not to do.

I remember many lifetimes where I watched similar moments and knew that what came next would catapult us through and into a great new place from the ashes of the past. Our fates have been sealed and the dice have been cast.

Freedoms are a risky adventure in a world such as this. The most precious air to breathe are the voices that call for freedom.
While they are spoken … they are rarely … completely heard.
Most people cannot be inspired by an idea that requires each individual to be fully responsible. Most would rather move forward with the blinders still on. Responsibility for oneself is fraught with great risks and terrible danger.
The moment any soul craves freedom more than peace … that is when they have found enough courage to see the golden handcuffs that keep them a prisoner within their own comfort. Then they will find the drive and energy to reach past what has been offered and claim the freedoms that were rightfully theirs in the first place.
