Dancer’s Reunion

 

There’s an excitement in the air,

As Ballet West dancers gather, we share,

Our times together, as life’s cycle dims,

Longing to connect with joy-filled whims.

 

In November, we’ll gather once again,

Reconnecting, sharing, laughter, and remembrance, amen.

Flights and travel arrangements we make,

Maximizing our time, memories to take.

 

As I age, these moments grow dear,

Precious and special, crystal clear.

We’re here to live and connect,

With our spiritual family, love and respect.

 

Grateful for powerful souls in my life,

Teaching me lessons, removing strife.

Calling them family, traversing lifetimes,

Playing scenarios, expanding our rhymes.

 

Shared wisdom, love of beauty and art,

Magnetism pulls us, never to part.

Incarnating together, expanding our souls,

Learning from experiences, reaching new goals.

 

Reflections of beautiful mirrors, priceless and true,

Their presence alone, a gift that grew.

The light in their eyes, a reminder so sweet,

Of special moments, memories we’ll keep.

 

Walking on hot coals, with brave souls by my side,

Magical bonds formed, love and understanding collide.

Few truly know me, in this life’s grand scheme,

But recognition in their presence, a cherished dream.

 

None of it matters, the understanding or not,

Being with these souls, life’s elixir, sought.

No need for a journey, they were always here,

Enlivening my spirit, forever near.
