Life is Always Inviting us to a Dance
Life is always inviting us to a dance. Some are the dances of emotions and other dances are playful expressions of moments in time where celebrations create spaces to connect to music and to sway in the flows of sounds.
When music happens, it takes my heart and soul. I cannot seem to think in a rational manner, because the sounds captivate my mind and require my body to find ways to move with those magical flows of a composer, a musician, or the sounds of nature.
Have you ever sat by a creek and felt that where you are sitting … the creek is still flowing beneath? Have you ever felt like a dog circling, trying to find the correct way to place one’s energy so that you can lay down and be in alignment with the electromagnetic flow that is on the ground in that moment?
I love laying on the ground at the ends of creeks, and rivers and place my head at the top and allow the flow of the water under the surface of the ground to clear out my thoughts move pleasantly through my body, and then out my feet. It is a peaceful release, and a magical way to open to the healing that nature constantly offers.
I have learned to listen to the creatures of the forest all talk and engage with each other. I understand how come birds are the sentries for the creatures on the ground that need warnings of things coming that they cannot see.
I have heard the forest go silent as a large predator comes slinking into an area and how such silences are deafening.
Quiet can be a warning just as much as the alarm calls of birds.
I have become a part of the nature that is on this land that I currently am graced to be a part of. I am part of the songs for the birds in the morning. I have creatures that let me know that they are awake are ready for their breakfast. They greet me with calls and clacks. They let the forest know that I have arrived. I am a part of their family and a part of their morning routine.
I like being a part of that routine. It is calming for my soul. It is soothing for the part of my mind that knows that so many continue to suffer in this world, both humans and the beautiful creatures of this world. While many places struggle for survival, on my little bit of forest, this island of peace and sanctuary has a flow that promotes life and survival. There is enough. And I share what I have with them.
While we cannot fix all the problems, we can help in small ways consistently that can allow for greater diversity and ease of life.
On my land, each day, I make a difference.
And each day, that effort is appreciated and acknowledged.
We live in a world that too often is so forced and exhausting that we do not remember to acknowledge the tremendous effort that each person puts into their day.
Today, try to say thank you to someone. Tell them they are beautiful and doing a great job. Allow them to feel that they are seen and have value. If we all learned to really notice others and the efforts that they put into making their small neck of the world better, we would have less war and upset.
Remember, that you are enough right now.
Remember, that your heart and love matter and make this world a better place.
Remember, that while each day is filled with challenges, it is often the small things that matter the most …in difficult moments.
Give a smile and really see the effort that others are putting into their work. It will go a long way in helping them remember that they have value.
