Today, the number 6 calls us to seek those quiet places within. In the silences and the spaces between things is where we find our true selves. This number reminds us that when we get too much in our head and we allow our mind to loop incessantly over things, that is where we lose touch with that beautiful self that understands that there is more to life than projects or mind games. We need to learn to let life in.
I like to think of this number as the 6th chakra in the human energy systems. The 6th chakra is the third eye. It is that place where we learn to center our mind and stop allowing it to run amuck. This is the chakra of intuition, self-realization, the seat of all inspiration, and the magical place of our imagination. It allows us to learn to exist in the inner and outer worlds. When a person has this chakra open and aligned within the chakra systems, we feel that we can trust our inner wisdom. When it is shut down, we become close-minded, distrustful, and egocentric.
Today, ask to have your eyes truly opened. Create the intention to be able to remain open to new perspectives.
Too often in our current world, souls are out of balance with this chakra. That results in those that cannot see the bigger picture and feel confused, depressed, and anxious.
Notice if you keep having too much eye strain. That is an indication that you are not using your third eye and over straining your physical eyes trying to see what is ahead when our physical eyes are not the answer but the opening of your third eye would be a better choice.
Notice if you get headaches, migraines, or feel dizzy. These are also symptoms of a blocked third eye.
The same is true if you are continuously anxious or confused, or lacking sleep or when sleeping you find you have nightmares. In the later cases, try waking up and concentrating on opening your third eye.
Even a small opening is worth the effort and the relief on the mind can make a big difference in your day.
