Today is a number 8. We look towards how we connect our spiritual self with our physical self. After all, we are a spirit having a human experience.
We often attach to and identify with our spiritual ideals. But they can leave our human self by the side of the road with no support. Today, what I see is a need for each of us to honor the enormous toll that our human body and physical self have endured over the years.
Be kind to your body. Compliment what it has managed to overcome and somehow keep going. We forget the tremendous effort life takes. The many physical challenges that we did not believe we could overcome. And yet, somehow, we managed to find that illusive completion.
Remember, that there is always help available either energetically, through others, or spiritually. This is where the spiritual self can give the body essential energy to overcome its normal limitations and discover another gear.
While today, I don’t want anyone going into 5th gear, I think 3rd would be appropriate. Take a steady course forward. Go at a pace that your spirit is satisfied with … but that your body can keep up with.
This number is the awareness of that connection that we have between our physical and spiritual self. When we allow that connection to be strong, we are unstoppable. When we don’t, the feelings of loss and grief can overwhelm us, and we become ensnared in the density of attachments and karma.
This number shows the way out of the karma. That is to allow both our human self and our spiritual self to share equal footing in this reality. When we recognize that we need both to survive and thrive here … then we do not allow the duality and polarity in this world to tear us apart but instead, pull us together.
