8 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 24

2 + 4 = 6

The number 6 says it is time to hide in a cave and to pull away from the insanity of this world and instead focus on what we need and what makes us happy.

The number 6 is called a “hermit” number because it is the place inside that seeks solitude and knows that the answers inside will give us relief. What is clear is that pleasing others will not.

We cannot fix the karma of others. We cannot stop the lessons from happening that they need to learn. Nor can we stop our own lessons from happening. That is why there are moments when we need to surrender into what is happening and go deep into the silence in order to make any sense out of those things that seem to want to push us past our points of sanity.

Today is a day to look at why we think we do not deserve those things that we keep trying to give others? The world is not going to fall apart because you take a break and step back. Besides what good can you do when you are exhausted and don’t have the energy to be effective.

That is why days like today show up. We are here to learn how to move beyond the circumstances of this moment and realize that to find a solution … we will have to change.

We cannot keep doing what we have always done if it is not being effective. Step back and drop into what is really motivating our choices and actions. We need to understand what really matters to us now. We need to recognize that our value is not in what we can give to others. We have intrinsic value just as we are.

Today is the day to own that thought.
