This day begins with thoughts of change. Seeing duality is quite an experience and one that requires us to stay awake and alert to the continuous streams of life that seem to come in and out. When we allow the mind to fight against the flow, we end up wasting energy in things that might ultimately not matter as much as we expect.

This is the gift of the number 2. To make us more aware of what might really matter from all the other crap that just is there to get in the way, confuse us, and distract us from what is important.

Too often we place too much importance in things that we think are where we should put our attention. But the truth is that those things that matter are beyond the mind. Those things that matter are how we feel in each other’s presence and in how we can come together and work together. Sharing is caring. Being with is more important than getting something done.

Too often we forget that.
